Project Description:
The Mainland Community Alliance is a newly formed group born from the now defunct Mainland Preservation Society and founded by myself. The main goal of the MCA is to remain a community-centric group focused on the revitalization of Second Life’s Mainland through the enrichment, beautification, education and promotion of Mainland projects and initiatives.
This build for this project was quite simple in concept. Where nature plays a front seat in almost all of my projects, the information found here at the MCA headquarters is the most important part of this build. From information on various Mainland Communities to education on what the Mainland actually is and what the MCA is, there is lots of different information needing to be displayed. So, for this build I used a Scarlet Creative build and modified it to add some extra wall space. I also tweaked the outdoor seating area off to the side to accommodate get togethers and added a conference room inside for MCA members to use.
Currently this build is located in Dulla Centre but will be moving in the future to Sonder, on the continent of Heterocera.
